This is a floor-vase I created for tall, fake flowers which were too tall for tables. It consists of various cardboard cans (coffee, grits, oatmeal) which had all but one bottom cut out. I then glued the cans together with wood-glue, covered the surface with a paintbrush and glue, wrapped twine around the cans, added smaller twine for a less uniform look, and used bag clips to hold the twine in-place while the glue dried. The burlap ribbon was purchased at Joanne Fabrics. I many redo this project with a darker twine next time because this bright look was too loud for my taste. Below is the end result. You'll notice my many other projexts in the background.
